Re: IVO Magnum Propeller For Sale

Me neither, and I have a Mazda.
I think he may be selling an engine. The 6800 number could be max rpm and the 2.85 number may refer to a redrive

Re: Canard sq2000 phase 1 aircraft

Plane brokers often don't understand experimental airplanes. You should contact David Orr and Marc Zeitlin. They will be able to help you with this.
David's email is David at CanardFinder dot...

Re: Long Ez Canopy

Maybe he doesn't visit here very often.
You should be able to send him an email from his profile.
If that doesn't work let me know and I'll send him one.
Welcome.

Re: How many Gear Up landings do we have?

That said, I did have a second incident...

Re: Forum Costs

Turbo,
My ex once told me, after a long (to me boring) flight VFR on top, that she wouldn't fly in a small plane again. Hence her title... "ex".
I suggest taking new girlfriends flying early in the...

Stop sending money!

Thank you all for your help with this.

Re: Forum Costs

OK. Lets give it at least another year.
Costs are 32/year for the domains and 156/year for hosting, so $188 total / year. I handled the costs for the last few years.
I'm leaving the vbulletin version...

Re: Forum Costs

Funny you should ask. The primary domain is due for renewal this month, and the hosting service in a couple of months.
The question is, is it worth it?

Really? Its been very quiet here lately. The...

Re: Anyone get their pilot's license recently?

I got mine (again) around the same time - a few months after the FAA announced that US licenses based on foreign licenses were no longer valid unless the foreign license itself remains current. My UK...

Re: To rotary engine users

I expect it would be difficult to lower the engine much and still get good cooling airflow, but I guess it could be lowered half of the displacement, such that the prop was 2 inches higher than...

Re: Todd Silver down in TN?

I just read an email from Buly:
Just heard that Todd passed away. We started building together our CZ' 20 years ago. He was a great help to me. Rest in piece. Condolences to his family.
I knew Todd...

Re: Humidity

Great.
You will gradually get a feel for the variables of temperature and layup complexity and will learn to vary your fast/slow ratio to suit. It takes a few layups to get this down. Your working...

Re: Humidity

What was the temperature that night? I recall a few MGS 335 layups where the cure took longer (and the layup was still sticky next morning) because the overnight temp was too low. They cured just...

Re: Wheels locking up

Do you have a parking brake unit?
I had this problem of one side locking. All I could do was taxi in circles.
I removed the parking brake unit. This solved the problem.

That said,...
