Winter in CO, can't really do much epoxy work in the unheated hanger... even with TMann's electric blanket trick.

So ordered out a wad (metric measurement) of avionics and figured I'd do some rough wiring on a temp IP in my basement where it's nice and warm.

Only problem is, it's been in the high 60's at the hanger. Yes, mid Feb!

Avionics arrived, temp IP made & placed on braces, holes cut. AL frame for the audio panel tray made.

Pix attached, comments welcomed!
1) You can see the 'rack'. Really, use your imagination! I'll add some lightening holes later, probably a paisley pattern since that's how my holes in AL turn out.
2) Fuse block on top. The unit has three busses. I figure battery buss (four fuse slots), master buss (12 fuse slots?), and avionics buss (for no apparent reason, 8 slots?)
3) Ground buss with six dummy fast-ons installed. I'll probably go with uninsulated, with heat shrink as a strain relief, because I can save a few grams. Hey, light planes fly fast
4) Section of 22ga Tefzel with a 3/8" wide P-touch label wrapped 2(?) turns, and clear heat shrink over. The label says: "22 ga" CR/LF "wire". It IS visible, under strong lighting
