Re: doing the wing skin layup alone
What helped me was to make a fixture to hold the fiberglass roll up high enough to let me pull it off and across the wing into position. The height of the roll was about 5 feet. Even with the cloth drooping some, it was above the microed wing and let me pre-position the cloth before I let it down. The roll holding fixture was made of some 2X4's and metal electrical conduit for the roll to rotate on. I also did the layups in colder weather that allowed more time for the epoxy to flow. It still took hours to wet out all the cloth but it wasn't bad.
