I have 16 years burning diesel fuel. I would be very comfortable using a diesel. I have read where these EE 2.0's are pumped up to 180 and onward to 200 horse power with a reprogramed chip. ECU I think. Last I hear these were 257 pounds so I'd be using a belt reduction system for sure to save on the weight. The more I have learned about belt reduction the better it seems a great weight saver. Dual belts of course. A machinist is working on a unit that I may adapt. If you want more info PM me and I'll send along the details.

Have either of you checked to see if you can get this engine new from Boxeer LLC? Their website states that they have new engines but it is unclear if they are new-in-box from Subaru or not.
